Climate control: do you actually need it?
Climate-controlled units cost a bit more. For wood furniture, electronics, photos and anything stored through a Charlotte summer, the extra few dollars usually pays off.

Charlotte summers regularly pass 90°F with high humidity, and a closed metal unit gets hotter than that. Climate control keeps your things in a steady range all year.
What climate control does here
Our climate-controlled units stay between 55°F and 80°F, and the building’s air handling keeps humidity in check. That matters more than most people expect: humidity is what warps wood and grows mildew.
