Brightbox Storage (“we”, “us”) runs the self storage facility at 7300 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28217 and this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Reservation details you send us: name, email, phone, unit size, move-in date and notes
Rental agreement details: photo ID, address and emergency contact, collected at the kiosk or office
Gate access logs showing when your code was used
Security camera footage of the gate, drive aisles and hallways
Basic website analytics such as pages visited and device type
How we use it
We use your information to hold and rent your unit, send gate code instructions and rent reminders, keep the facility secure and answer your questions. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number, we may text you about your reservation, gate code, rent and facility notices. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Payments
Online and autopay payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the facility (payment processing, texting, website hosting), with your protection plan provider if you choose a plan, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Camera footage is kept for about 30 days unless it is needed for an incident. Reservation details that never become a rental are deleted after 12 months. Rental records are kept as long as the law requires.
